We are a small independent game developer, led by Emil Hedemalm. Emil has his background in Game Development and Network computing and has for the past decade built his own game engine from scratch (in C++), and has now been developing, designing and directing this game: Time and Time again – a Strategy game. Together with Emil, we also have Andréas Söderberg, a talented graphics generalist, with a passion for pushing pixels and crafting UI and icons, as well as 3D graphics. We have also enlisted some talented contractors to help bring our vision to life, and have some interns working with us as well, learning the ropes of game development. We are a fully remote team, collaborating with digital tools daily. Formally we are grouped under the company Evergreen IT AB, which was founded as Emil’s new consulting and IT product development company.
Before working on this game, Emil has been working as an IT consultant at various clients in Stockholm, including some game developers. Andreas has previously worked on projects such as World Hockey Manager and Prime 2D.

The Game
The vision of the game is based on a blend of other strategy game titles, with some more simulation aspects added. Food production and rationing, taxation, happiness, sanitation, cold damage, armaments production, diplomacy, prospection and mineral extraction are some parts of the gameplay. We also aim to include some historical scenarios, to bring to life some of the historical events which has left marks in the European landscape still visible today.
What do others say?

Playtester 2: I want to raise the taxes to max but they (the settlement inhabitants) get so upset! Why?!
Playtester 3: I really like the music.
